Phyton Biotech to Present at High-Value Chemicals from Plants Network in Scotland

Phyton Biotech is pleased to announce that Dr. Gilbert Gorr, Chief Scientific Officer at Phyton Biotech, will be presenting at Plant Cell Cultures: Production of High-Value Chemicals, an upcoming biotech industry workshop for researchers working on plant cell cultures and representatives who are interested in developing this area. Dr. Gorr is an expert in plant cell culture development and his presentation, Applications of plant cell cultures – from bench to commercial large-scale production of actives, will focus on plant cell culture-based supply solutions for plant-derived products that are environmentally friendly, reliable and scalable.

The full-day workshop, being held by High-Value Chemicals from Plants (HVCfP) network in Edinburgh, Scotland, on February 28, 2018, will explore the development of productive plant cell cultures, extraction of products, scale-up and industrial applications.

HVCfP is one of thirteen Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) funded Networks in Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy (NIBB) designed to boost interactions between academia and industry.
